Vista Alegre celebrates 200 years with the launch of a “unique editorial work”

Vista Alegre is extending its two-century celebrations with the launch of a unique book, marking the end of its 200th anniversary celebrations. The launch took place today at the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, in Lisbon.
The Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, presided over this event, which took place in the rooms that house the exhibition “Rumo ao Infinito – Vista Alegre, 200 Anos de Criatividade”, opened in November of the previous year.
It should be remembered that on that occasion Vista Alegre was decorated by the President of the Republic with the title of honorary member of the Order of Infante D. Henrique, an honorary order that distinguishes the provision of relevant services to Portugal, in the country or abroad, or services in the expansion of Portuguese culture, its history and its values.
